The finishing of this project has perhaps been hindered by the fact that it's completely useless. What would anyone do with a 2.5-inch cube book? It sounded cool in April 2006 when I started sewing this text block together, but now I think I've forgotten even how to do those stitches, so it will probably continue to sit in a box. I forgive myself.

I forgive you, too. But I won't forgive myself if we don't make clamshell boxes someday. I think I might even know what I want to make mine for.
Maybe after Christmas? Or at least after my thesis defense?
This is where I would give the project to my toddler and let her finish it. She likes to draw. I'm sure she would make it way pretty.
