Costumes

Speaking of candy corn, that's what I'm planning on our family dressing as for Halloween this year. You know...my husband is the tallest, so he'll be the yellow stripe, I'll be orange, and my daughter will be the white tip. Somehow it became Halloween Eve, and I've yet to gather a single part of this costume. How much you wanna bet that we'll end up wearing plastic table cloths from the dollar store as ponchos?

Happy Halloween, fellow non-finishers!

Just wanted to say a little hi! I clicked over from the the Jet Set which I clicked on from MMB...to say I love the idea of this blog! So funny. And really nice to feel like you are not the only one who does all that stuff. We all do!)

At least you have a concept! I'm praying that the costumes from last year will still fit the girls- this plan will most likely fail me...

rachel...thanks for reading!

ashley...yeah, i'm starting to worry that everything orange will be sold out or that we'll just look dumb and thrown together. but that's what we are! (thrown together...not dumb, haha.)

I gave up halfway through costume making. I made my child's costume. I made the hat of my husband's Max suit. And then I bought a white sweatshirt and gray sweat pants (I couldn't even go to one more store to find white sweats) and gave up.

azĂșcar...you shoulda told me...i found white sweats at k-mart when i was there looking for orange and yellow sweats (which k-mart is suddenly too classy to sell apparently)....and in the men's department...not women's. do men wear white sweat suits now? men who shop at k-mart, i guess. i gave up too and told myself i'll collect stuff all year so we can be candy corn next year.
