Free Movie Tickets

IMG_1069
When a condo company offers free movie vouchers for coming to see their model condo, do they know they're asking for it? Did they really think we were interested in buying anything at all? When we said, "Oh, what a great club house! And so many options for counter tops!" did they feel hopeful? If so....silly condo company. That said, it's been about two years since we got these vouchers (which luckily don't expire), and we still haven't used them. There's just so much pressure to use them on THE movie...the best one. And how can we choose? Simon thinks we should just give up and go see 'New Moon.' Hah.

So, basically, I need your help. Leave a comment with your suggestion for the film we should see for free in a real theater, and I'll randomly select one. If yours gets chosen...well, no one is sponsoring this post, so I can't really offer anything but my sincere appreciation for your assistance in this endeavor.

Obviously the only correct choice is to go see New Moon. Obviously.

Really though, I'm going to say Fantastic Mr. Fox as well. It looks wonderful. If you must see a movie this weekend, I'd vote for The Men Who Stare at Goats. I enjoyed it. The Box sounds interesting too, and its music was composed by Arcade Fire.

Those are just last resorts if for some reason you can't make it to New Moon, of course.

if you see new moon anywhere other than your house where i will be able to make fun of it with you i will not forgive you, for a couple of days

it's been way too long since I have watched a movie let alone in a theater but I would not waste your tickets on new moon. Go to the Chocolate show instead. It would be much more enjoyable.

If I had to go see a movie right now, I'd pick 2012. I'm a sucker for special effects...

Also, my word verification is "poker." I don't think I've actually gotten a real word before.

My first thought was Fantastic Mr. Fox as well, but you could also go and see Boondock Saints 2

LOL! Your posts kill me. I loved this one, especially since we have TWO sets of free movie passes that have been sitting in our possession for 6+ months (at least). We're waiting for THE movie, too. Anxious to see what movie you pick from your comments. I'm really excited to see The Blind Side.
